This section is one that I hope to phase out over time. Digitally painting and drawing is nice and easy and all, but I?m now of the opinion that it dulls our senses as artists and removes a bit of the organic quality that makes art fun.
Plus I think an artist isn?t work their salt if they can?t produce in the real world what they paint or draw using a Wacom tablet.
Don?t get me wrong, digital art definitely has a place as another tool in the art world, which is why I leave this section up, but when it comes down to it, I?d rather use real paint. |
