I've always had a tad of a knack for building things. I credit it mainly to the ultimate creative toy - LEGOS! I remember making sure the colored bricks balanced out evenly when making various vehicles as a kid, and I think Legos gave me a sense of three dimensionality early on.
A few years ago I tried my hand at sculpey and discovered I liked it. Spongebob characters were my first attempt and I couldn?t stop from then on.
After taking a Jewelry intro class at Tech, I figured out I really liked making things in metal, and switched from Painting to Jewelry as my major. |
